VICTOR JR REPRODUCER QUESTION

Post by Phonotom »

Hi I have 2 Victor JR's with different reproducers on them. I am hoping someone can shed some light on this for me. I am 99.9% sure they both are original. My understanding also is that the repros did not have writing on the back side? Thanks in advance, Tom

The only difference that I can see is that one has been disassembled and polished at some time, while the other is untouched original. My take on it anyway...

Yes, I believe both are original Junior reproducers. There was also an adaptor, provided by Victor, to allow an Exhibition to be used on a Junior.

They are both original. I had a similar post a while back. viewtopic.php?f=2&t=26676&hilit=victor+junior

Both are real. I have all of the service parts to restore these, including the correct chemicals to re-darken the metal.
