Victrola VV 4-7 vs VV 4-40

Does anyone know if the tonearm and bracket for the Victrola VV 4-40 are the same ones used in the VV 4-7?  They were made around the same time and the pictures I can find look like they might be identical.

I ask because I'm trying to find a bracket for my 4-7 and may be able to get one for a 4-40. That would be great if it works!
