I have an Edisonic that runs too slow. I have cleaned and lubed all obvious points, but still runs slow. Where might I adjust the speed? Thanks, Roy

There are two things you can do. First, you can adjust the small speed control that's under the motor board. It looks like an inverted cup with a slot every 90 degrees. You'll need to make a tool like the one shown here:

Second, and easier, is to adjust the governor. First run the motor completely down, then loosen the bearings and move it slightly farther away from the pad. This will allow the governor to open up a bit more and the machine will speed up a bit.
You may wind up doing both of these things to get to the right speed. I assume Edison moved the speed control out of reach since all Diamond Discs play at the same speed and in theory there would be no need for a frequent adjustment.

The adjustment for the later "Type B" mechanism used in the Diamond Disc Phonograph is, as pointed out by 52089, underneath the motor plate on the governor "speed disc" side of the governor.
Cheers,
