For those that aren't familiar with these...over 100 years ago the Salter Co. was that era's rival to the Herzog's cabinets....they really made some nice ones.
As far as condition...the good: the cabinet is in great or better condition...but we all know condition is relative so please see for yourself. The VV-VI is also in very nice condition and plays well and with new gaskets and back flange sounds good too.
The bad: someone added a knob in front that could be removed I suppose if the new owner desires. And at sometime in the cabinet's life some newer shelves were added. That's about it but feel free to ask any questions...thru here or my email is [email protected].
Asking $900 with pickup only and I can hold this as long as you need for that and I'm located right on Hwy 20 in Evansdale Iowa ...the same road the Union Show was on for many years and a direct route to the new show in Illinois too. I'm retired so stop by anytime if you want and while you're here you can shop around for quite a number of other antique phonos, Herzog and Salter cabinets and stuff like that.
If you want this please reply with SOLD and then I'd appreciate it if you would just contact me thru my regular email ([email protected]) Thanks a lot! Craig
