Edison Triumph shaver
I just got my first Triumph and it has a cylinder shaver. I looked it up on YouTube and it's supposed to lock by pulling the lever down. When I pull it down it does hold it in place but as soon as I release it doesn't lock. I'm I missing something? Is there a way to adjust it so it does lock?

The lock can be easily adjusted.
I've copied your picture and added two notes. The upper slotted head screw is a locking screw or set screw that should be loosened a bit to allow adjustments.
Then the round collar with "wrench flats" can be turned clockwise a bit to tighten. When you get it tight enough to hold the lever the set screw can be retightened.
Hope that works.
