Harry James: Its Been A Long Long Time

Post by travisgreyfox »

I found this in a pile of records the other day and threw it on eBay because I generally like the older jazz records, as most of us do here. I know this tune is popular now since they put it in the Avengers movie. Here is the link if you would like to bid on it (started the bidding at $0.99)

Hey Henry, Put your glasses on---- 0.99 means 99 cents. Just think you'll save 98 dollars now if you get it---in which case, Can I borrow 87 dollars . Ha Ha. Are you going to The Wayne Show?

I've seen copies go for way more than that!

And, not all Harry James records are horrible. The earlier ones are quite good. Even some of the later ones are. "Prince Charming" comes to mind.

Well, I read it again and it (still) says "US $99.00 Buy it now". https://www.ebay.com/itm/275221327227?h ... OSwwERiNj4 . I just got new glasses last month, following cataract surgery. No matter, though, I already own the record!

No plans to attend Wayne show. Have a good time!

I actually had another one I sold before this one. I started the bidding at $1 for it too. It ended up selling for $72. It's a decent record, but I can find way better ones for 70 bucks!

It was used in a VERY popular film around 2018.
