HMV 100 - Early Version

Post by poodling around »

An early version of an HMV 100 - 'lid support stay' on the left hand side, etc.

Not from the 1940's of course ............. anyway:

The auction house seem to be able to pack it and deliver ?

Oh, and what may be a Meltrope soundbox.

Interesting.

Two more things to notice are that there is no metal ferrule in the centre of the record tray, and no small metal brackets to hold the record tray in place. Instead there are two fabric hinges inside the tray that are attached to the inside of the lid.
