My Facebook account is under a pseudonym. I have no Facebook friends and use the account only for Marketplace and access to selected hobbyist groups. I also never do business through Facebook's payment system so that I don't have to give them any "real" info.

One day I may give in because of how much I used marketplace and how much phonograph-centric content there is on Facebook, but for now I will continue to turn up my nose at the prospect.

I created a Facebook page specifically to look at Marketplace. As soon as I created the page, I went into settings and shut almost everything down. It allows me to look at the Marketplace items and message the seller. I can also look at other websites of interest.

I'm surprised this Victrola is still available. It's a nice example of the very first table model Victrola. It's a testimony to Victor's advertising that this Victrola with sound coming through the flattened horn and pinched doors could sell at a price higher than the Victor VI.
