Oh my, a spectacularly rare TEAK 193 but with gold plated fittings instead of oxidised silver. I want that!!!

Even with a 202, I still want that!!!!!

Is it about £1,500 Sterling? I can't quite follow how the price is listed to get an approximate conversion. For example is it 1 million and 50,000 Rupees or 150,000 Rupees? The seller has confusingly written it as 1,50,000 which doesn't quite make sense to me.

It would be good if the pictures could be saved in this forum for posterity. We probably won't ever see another one the same.

I believe this listing might be 9 years old? I very much doubt its still for sale, apart from its obvious rarity (maybe only one of a handful left in the world?), it was very cheap.

If its not a silly question how exactly did you find this anyway? It's not as though it has any obvious commonly used descriptors in the title and the website is difficult to find and navigate through......unless maybe you're in India.

I remember inquiring into this machine. I think it has problems.

I've tried enlarging the pictures a bit and it occurs to me that it has got damp over time and therefore rusty possibly? It looks to me as though the motor plate had been painted / sprayed gold. The tonearm and everything else appears to be the orignal gilding. Obviously the felt has been changed and some blackening of the soundbox. The grille cloth has been replaced but does it have the original horn?

That's odd. In my browser everything has a date by it on that site and it says 2013 when I view it.
