Since the recent post of the Mobley reproducers, I have been thinking about the other variant types such as Blackman, Fletcher and Horsley. For this post I will limit it to Fletcher reproducers. While I have seen several Fletcher reproducers over the years, I haven't seen many variants of them. I only know of 2 Elmo Fletcher modified variants of Edison's Automatic reproducer. The common variant looks to be a domed top with Fletcher's trademark information engraved, as well as a weight hinge with a different look than Edison. Also, the stylus bar linkage is different than Edison's as well.
The other variant is an Edison Automatic reproducer, but here a rectangular tail weight with a cutout to allow an adjustment screw to show through.
I am unaware of any Fletcher recorders.
I'd love to see what variants of Fletcher reproducers and recorders you have to share.
Thank you.
