FS All Victor Part Sold Except for the Gold Exhibition-Thank

Post by Jerry B. »

I bought a complete "L" door Victrola that I'll be parting out. Various cabinet parts are missing veneer and it's just not worth the effort. If you have an "L" door project and need something, please contact me. Thanks, Jerry Blais

What wood is the cabinet, Jerry?

I believe the cabinet carcass has sold. It started as a mahogany machine. The veneer is totally missing on the right "L" door and the core wood is oak. Have you ever noticed that a Victor Victrola seems half again as heavy as a Brunswick of the same size? Victor used oak as its core wood and most other companies used something lighter. Jerry B.
