Language Phone Decals

Post by columbia1spring »

I’m working with Gregg Cline in the restoration of a language phone base. Both of us are unsure of the flower placement on the base. Is it exactly in the center or off to the right a bit? Gregg suggested I ask this on the forum. So,... does anyone have an original, unrestored language phone and can share some pictures of both the flowers and thin gold lines? The one I own, the flowers are totally worn off and not much on google.
Thank You!

We also are curious about the pinstripe design...is it different than a typical Q or unique to the language phone. Also, was there an I’d tag. Photos of the tag and design would be very helpful!
Thanks for any assistance!
Gregg

I found these on line. It all appears to be original. The flowers are off center to the right, if looking head on. Very thin gold pin stripping, actually looks thinner then the Columbia Q or Busy Bee
