The recent positing regarding the thread size for the set screws on an Edison machine reminded me about a company that offers virtually every size tap and die imaginable. Coincidentally named “Victor Machinery Exchange” or VME, you can purchase many of the standard and special thread sizes needed to repair our old machines.

Thanks for posting this information.
To get a quick idea of what they have and prices, I searched 56tpi taps and found they have many and the prices are very good.
I will try these guys next time I need tiny taps and dies, for sure.
