Great article!
"Two dishes were named for her - chicken Tetrazzini and turkey Tetrazzini." This is what remains of a great singer.

I can't thank you enough for this post. I have a few sub-collections within my phono collection and one is a Tetrazzini collection. It started with an autographed Victrola signed "Souvenir from Louisa Tetrazzini, April 1921". It went from there to her records (one autographed!), post cards, a poster endorsing a facial cream, and a dealer poster from her San Francisco outdoor concert in 1910. After reading your post I immediately rushed down to the basement and found my copy of Tetrazzini's "Last Rose of Summer". Tonight when our family gathers for our Christmas celebration, I plan to read the article and play her record. Thanks so much, Jerry Blais
