Recently a vv-iv came into my possession, long story short, it turned out to have more issues than first thought. Many many many more issues. The spring was welded together previously, which brings us to our problem. Some time in its life, the spring barrel arbor was pushed/bent inwards. I've already contacted some people about a new one, but George Vollema has a wait because of the holidays. Has anyone else had a similar problem? and how have you solved it?
