Metal Grills on the A80?

Metal Grills on the A80?
I found this grill for my Edison Diamond Disc A80. I am assuming that the originals were wood, but this one fits, and as far as I can tell, it's more or less the correct design so it will do for now. Were metal grills like this one ever used on the A80, or does this go to some other machine?

If it was supposed to be wood, the grooves that the grill sits in would be somewhat wider than those intended for a thinner, metal grill. If your metal grill fits snuggly in its grooves, I'd say it's correct.
