Japanese Paragon Tabletop Model 60

This is one of the best sounding Japanese Paragon Tabletop Model 60. It has a unique horn. This was sold in Yahoo Auction Japan. I missed it unfortunately.

What is that horn made from? It reminds me of a coiled snake. I love it. I don't care much for snakes though.

Me too. Interesting and apparently high quality design acoustically. It looks to me as though it could be some kind of bituminous lagging - fairly similar to how the horns in the large Orchorsol cabinets were treated.

According to Mr. Kei Ikeda, who was a very famous audio file specialist in Japan, the horn is made of some metal coil, new paper or fabric and asphalt.

So we have an internal horn which is a sort of hybrid between an EMG horn and a road surface! I'd love to hear it in action.
