Victor 2-55 Tonearm

I have three Victor 2-55 one was missing the tonearm and the other two are used for parts. My last purchase had a good motor but the case was not so good. It had a broken tonearm also. So my question is how can I separate the base to see if I could possibly fix it. All the bearings are gone but one. I can put the last two machines togetger and make another good running 2-55. Thanks
