FOUND: Transportation and short term storage needed

Post by gramophone-georg »

Wondering if anyone out in TMF- Land can help out with a dilemma (with compensation. of course!)
I have a nicely restored RAE-84 in Nicholsville, KY by Lexington about an hour and a half south of Cincinnati that needs to be picked up, babysat, and transported to the Midwest show for the Jerry B Express if the JBE has room. It measures 54" tall by 28.25 in wide by 20" deep and weighs about 100 LBS. It would likely need to be transported upright. It's on a VictrolaMonkey bolted on base with lockable wheels so it moves easily.

If anyone can help or has other ideas please reach out. Thanks much!

Might be. I'd rather see if I can find a phono person and keep the money in the family first, though. :D

I'll be taking my covered cargo trailer from Oregon to the Midwest Expo and back to the West Coast. Available for transportation to help with fuel expenses!

Yup- if I can just get it to Chicago... you're hired! Wouldn't even think of anyone else, even if they were cheaper. :D

The repair person in KY is moving soon- middle of May- which is why I may need it baby- sat for a month or so. If there's anyone traveling through that area that can help... compensation is waiting!
Thanks all!
