I have for sale one of the most colorful aftermarket morning glory horns I have ever seen in over 20 years of collecting! This horn's petal design and overall "feel" is similar to horns made by Hawthorne & Sheble, but I have not seen this exact horn listed in any of their period catalogues. This horn is unique in that it has FIVE different color patterns on it (deep blue/yellow/gold/green/light blue), whereas most other morning glory horns had only three (occasionally four) color patterns. While I don't think the color patterns are necessarily original to the horn (except the gold pinstriping), they were obviously professionally done many decades ago and lend a wonderful patina to the horn that enhances it far more than if they were not present. The horn measures 19" tall, 20" wide (bell diameter) and 1.25" diameter where its end attaches to the elbow. There is a small nipple protruding right below the horn opening similar to what I've seen on Columbia external-horn client machines of the era, so it is likely reasonable to assume that this horn was specially made for such a machine. There are a few slight wear marks on the inside of the horn as well as where the elbow attaches (see photos), but overall this is in EXCELLENT condition for its age and has been well-cared for throughout its century-long life.
