Looks in good condition, but the collection only offer will restrict potential buyers.

Maybe it is good value at £ 400 then and the buyer could always arrange a courier.

Re: India Teak - HMV 114
The only problem I can see is that the clip that holds the arm for transit is missing, and without it the arm and soundbox will flop around with potential damage to the soundbox. This not the same clip as used on the 102, and it took me twenty years to find one for my 114.

I think we have been here before. Different seller but possibly the same machine with the same missing part.

I guess the opinions expressed there lean towards this being a nice gramophone then ?

It's okay, yes, just missing that tonearm clip. Mind you, if anymore 114 or 118's come down the line we'll all be junking them for spares!poodling around wrote: Sat May 27, 2023 2:00 pmNow, that is an extremely interesting thread link.epigramophone wrote: Sat May 27, 2023 1:36 pm I think we have been here before. Maybe if Craig could relocate his "command centre" a little northwards, none of us would be complaining!
He'd have to take that brick wall with him though. Rather like Dave Smith's old blue chair, something would be amiss without it in every photograph. I once offered DS a lot of money for that chair. He didn't bite surprisingly!
On a serious note, I hope Craig didn't just drop that down on that wall to photograph it. As it overhangs the wall, it doesn't even have the corner protectors to save it from dents and scratches from grit or sharp edges of the bricks.
