Anyone heard from "poodling around"?

Post by Steve »

I know he's officially gone with the wind but although I attempted to both email him and privately message him here, I've received no reply to date.

Has anyone else received a reply from him yet? Let's hope he's doing alright.

I too have had no reply to my message. His leaving the forum has left a regrettable void.

Thanks, Barry. It is regrettable indeed! Considering I was engaged in multiple discussions with him over the past six months, I am feeling the void in particular. Without his help and thoughtfulness, for which I'm extremely grateful, I would never have secured the rare HMV No. 18 soundboxes!

Imposible to get him back? Nobody lives near him to pay him a visit and pray on behalf of all colleagues who enjoyed his posts, stories and knowledge, and miss him so much...???
Anyone among us is a friend of his, or knows and can provide his address? I offer myself to write a condolence letter to him, trying to get him back...

Thank you all so very much.

I am absolutely fine and haven't really gone any-where.

You have all (almost) restored my faith in humanity by saying the nicest of things.

Let's get back to gramophones now ! :D

Welcome back, yes :)
I started to worry when I saw this thread, we for sure don't want to lose you, or anyone else.
I was relieved when reading your post further down in the thread. :)

Don't disappear like I did for awhile (not my choice)... Glad you're OK.
