I think this a nicely driving, hard swinging tune, and just title just tickles me, though the use of the word 'rock' in a musical context is hardly unique to the pre rock n' roll era.

Sounds great. I love that Glenn Miller type sound from the 40s - not a band i've heard of before. What date would thiss one be?

1940.
I don't know much about Larry Clinton bands, or have the foggiest idea who the musicians might have been on this particular record, but I'd be curious to know, especially of the solid, swinging drummer.
