Personal Cylinder Recording

Hello again--
I would be interested to know if anyone knows of anyone doing cylinder recording in Nebraska, Iowa or Kansas. (Basically--anywhere within a hundred miles of Nebraska City, Ne.--LOL)

Im in Rantoul, IL, I make my own blanks, in fact starting a batch of recording compound as we speak, just weighed the hydrated alumina,ceresine and stearic, going to start the flame on the coleman, and heat the cast iron culdron up. If you purchase a recorder, you could get decent results if you follow the instructions on my website (it is on my profile) I make a little over a kilo a batch, changed from pounds to metric for accuracy.
