Which Records Belong in This Album?

Post by JerryVan »

Came a cross this while going through my "stuff". It appears to have a Christmas theme. Can anyone tell me what records originally came in this album? It has sleeves for 3 records. I assume it was a specific "set".

Thanks,

I don't believe any specific records came with this album, which I believe is "gift album" (my words). The purchaser would have chosen the records for the album for a gift. I once had one such album with a Mother's Day theme.

The fact that the number 18901 is a Victor record catalog number (both sides by the Club Royal Orchestra) is coincidental.

I look forward to either correction on or affirmation of this.

I just this last weekend was given this same (empty) album and was wondering the same thing. I know the "For Mother" album was originally sold with records 19991-19993, and later sold empty, but haven't been able to find anything on the Christmas one. Thanks for posting this Jerry. Hopefully someone out there will have some info on it.

I stand corrected, Steve. I had forgotten about those records that were sold with the "For Mother" album.
