What is this reproducer?

Post by Curt A »

I got this several years ago on eBay and cannot seem to find anything about it. It is a Columbia reproducer with some type of aftermarket add on...

Here are two obscure things I found for him.

1. A booklet, "A common sense analysis of the Townsend plan"

2. This tag was found with a home-brew radio.

These are in my personal collection. Quite different versions from a glance.

Good eye, James. I didn't notice that, but the stain on the word "Tone" definitely gives it away...

PS: His Townsend Plan is interesting - pay 10 million people a guaranteed income of $200/mo., which they would be required to spend (as their "job")...
