I'm missing the hand crank for my VV 4-3 Credenza, then went and purchased one off of ebay for the VV 4-3 CONSOLETTE without even realizing there could be a difference. Does the Consolette Hand Crank still work with the Credenza variant?

The threaded portion of the 4-3 crank will fit the Credenza motor however the length between the motor and the side of the cabinet may be wrong. Also, there are Credenza variants, the motor position was changed at least once, some need a longer shaft than others. Tell us the serial number of your Credenza and we’ll see if the crank dimensions are in the parts listing. If not, just measure your cabinet to determine the crank length that will fit.

There is no such thing as a "4-3 Credenza". There is a 4-3 Consolette. The Credenza is either tagged as "Credenza", "Credenza X", or "Credenza 8-30". Can you post a picture of either the phonograph or the I.D. tag, or both?

The one at the bottom is the correct one!

Then the crank you bought should be fine.

Now That I'm a little more knowledgeable. Maybe ya'll could help me out with a quick question. The Consolette we've been talking about, I'm missing one of the door knobs.

I went and purchased a set of Phonograph VV 4-40 knobs. (Thinking they were the same knobs used on different models.)

Does anyone know if the VV 4-4 knobs can work on a vv 4-3?

I believe they would be the same knobs. But if not the same as your remaining knob, it would be a simple matter to just replace both, since you say you bought a set.
