Offering a Columbia B-I-I restoration project. This one has been sitting around for several years waiting for someone to finish it. The case is nice but does have some case holes that were plugged and patched (See pics). The back bracket and arm need to be polished. The motor has a note that says the drive gear needs a push-start. This would mean the mechanism needs to be gone through and proper adjustments made. The springs are good. There is a small hole drilled in the underside of the tone arm (a mystery). Other pieces that are included are in the pics. A 9 ⅞” platter is needed to complete. The turntable dust ring needs to be rounded slightly.
The horn is in very good shape, no dents or dings and no problems with the threaded end. The horn was only cleaned, not polished. This is a worthwhile restoration project which will require some work but is already pretty far along.
