Columbia No. 6 rebuild

Trying to rebuild a Colombia No.6 reproducer and could only find a couple of videos on YouTube. I have a thick gasket and a thin gasket which one goes underneath the mica? I tried the thick one on the bottom and thin gasket just kept moving out of position. I reversed it and had no problems keeping it in place. In one video they added oil to the pivot pins and in the other they did not. So what is the correct way of doing it. Thank you.
