WTB: Needle Arm for a Victor Improved Concert Reproducer?

Post by Dischoard »

I know this is a long shot, I mean, who has a needle arm but has somehow miraculously had the body fail on their Victor Improved Concert reproducer? Just thought I'd put this out there, just in case.

And on the flip side, if it turns out I'll never find the parts to finish off this reproducer, if you need a decent body, it turns out I've got one (out of context, that sounds hilarious).

Thanks!

Yup, he can repair a damaged one but when asked if he had a replacement I got crickets...

I don't mean to be a debbie downer but I had a vic imp conc that I bought from Charlie Hummel. I searched for 5 years and finally sold it. Apparently they are quite a few of those missing the needle bar.. Maybe the best bet is to use a off brand reproducer needle bar and modify to fit.
Good luck

Oh not at all, I have no delusions of a bunch of folks having spares laying around. Figured it was a long shot but it never hurts to try. I had the same thought as you about modifying some other system but also not sure which would be the closest to start with. How were those needle bars attached for one? I really don't see any connection points, were they held on solely by the mica screw? That would be insane but also explain why so many are missing this part. I have closeup pictures of what it should look like but have no idea how it actually interacts with the body. Perhaps this is why they made so few of these...
