Graphophone ID please

Post by 52089 »

A friend spotted this while on vacation in Canada. Could someone please ID model and other relevant info? Certainly appears to be able to play 3M 20th Century cylinders.

I do have the Columbia book, but it's in storage.

Thanks in advance.

Looks like a Columbia type C ... Some were spring wound-- some were electric.

That is indeed a late-production Type C Graphophone, and it's spring-powered.
