Terrific! Even more fun when that latex undercoat starts bubbling!

The scary thing about this relic is, I took this photo sometime earlier September.

It’s gone now from the vendors booth!

Someone brought it :o

It’s more of a thrift resale mall with antiques. But mostly crafty type stuff. But I can’t really can’t complain. I’ve found nice 78’s there. And a really nice maroon Fireside horn for $36 dollars with a 20% off sale. I glad I found it before it became a lamp or part of a steam punk assemblage.

MOST unfortunate. I have the same model of Victrola XIV and they're good machines. But the paint on some surviving examples is so hard to dig out of the finish.

Mine was not painted but was missing the back panel so I bought the panel from Mr Vollema. It was painted. ZipStrip took care of that but it's not easy to get here anymore as the chemicals are pretty vile. Wouldn't do that one again without a respirator and a way to burn the rags.

"May need a new needle".  Judging by the hole that the needle has dug in the top board I would have to agree!! :D
