Help identify this governor

Can anyone help me identify this governor? I got it with some parts and don’t know what it’s for.

It's a late Edison diamond disc motor governor. I think they called them "Anti-shock" or something like that.

Thank you, now that I know what is, I don’t have any use for it , back in the parts box lol
