Henry Ford Dance Records

Post by Lee »

I need some information about Henry Ford dance records, are they really collectible? I have a friend that has a LARGE quantity of Ford dance records that he is interested in possibly selling. He sent me two photos of the type of thing he has. I have not personally seen the records, but I will be picking up a box of about twenty as an example and bringing them to the Stanton's auction (November '24) for anyone to examine. I have no idea of value. I have done a little research via Google but haven't learned a great deal. I am a cylinder and Tinfoil guy mostly, so I don't have any real interest in them myself. All or most of the records are in excellent condition, I am told. Story is that they came from a closed radio station many years ago. If anyone has any interest, you can email me at [email protected] If you email me, I can give you my cell and we can discuss it or if you are going to Stanton's we can talk there. Thanks! I cannot identify the maker of these records by their aspect or labels, but they like to me as being from the 1940s...
