It's coming up on Christmas time girls and boys and what could be better than having certainly one of the greatest, if not the greatest (my humble opinion), Christmas song ever recorded. I was fortunate to come across a few copies of NOS (NEW OLD STOCK) records by the Drifters performing White Christmas. I am not sure if Irving Berlin would be rolling around in his grave or jumping for joy....one thing for sure, this recording makes me jump for joy and gives me toe-tappingitus.

Finding NOS 78's does not happen often and when it does, mostly they are of no musical importance, nevertheless, this one of those exceptions. This 1954 gem is an Doo Wop audio masterpiece, especially on 78. It features Clyde McPhatter and Bill Pinckney......it jumps right out of your speakers with a 2.7mil stylus as it was likely recorded with ribbon microphones.
