Here's a nice 1897 recording of Adeste Fideles for all to enjoy.

Season's best wishes to fellow collectors from David Giovannoni and i78s.

Lovely sounding record, really helps me get into the Christmas spirit!

Thanks for the kind words, greatly appreciated.
You can hear what this recording sounded like before restoration by flicking i78s' "Processed Audio" switch to the left.
The resulting "Preservation Transfer" is exactly what came off the record.

I still suffer from PTSD caused by years of having to endure nonsensical KMart Christmas music as a KM Enterprises District Mgr... my God how I despise "Rockin' Around The Christmas Tree" and "Grandma Got Run Over..." but I must admit this is nice, from a far simpler time. Thanks for posting it!

The Music Police have no place in the homes of the nation. In the privacy of one's own home, one can play Christmas music any time one wants. ;)

Many sincere thank for sharing this wonderful recording. A full five out of five smiley face rating: :D :D :D :D :D / :D :D :D :D :D
