The Columbia Graphophone B, the Eagle, was introduced in August of 1897 and this one was made within the first year of production. The dawn of practical home entertainment was witnessed by its first caretaker.
You will be hard-pressed to find an early example that’s clean and runs as fine.
The motor has been completely cleaned, polished, greased, including the springs, and is ready for the next generations’ enjoyment. Winds smoothly and has plenty of reserve power.
The reproducer has new gaskets, a new glass diaphragm and new permanent stylus for the best sound since it was first made.
Sympathetic conservations have been made, removed the grime from the original finish, and touch-up the original decal.
Included are eight records, all in excellent condition.
The cone horn is an older reproduction.
$580
Winding a phonograph is ritual.
Hearing its music without electricity is magic.
Thanks for looking!
