I'm wondering what price one would expect to pay for a Columbia GG, Graphophone Grand. If I have anything like a "bucket list" machine in mind, this one would be on it. I'm stopping just short of a "Wanted" ad at this point, because I don't want to embarrass myself by being uninformed as to the possible asking price. (I do realize they're not cheap.) I'm talking a nice example, original finish & complete. Motor issues however are not a problem.
Any thoughts? Any recent known sales prices?
If anyone has one to offer, please PM me. (Maybe this turned into a wanted ad anyway...)

Jerry,
As you know, the GG doesn't turn up very often. That makes drawing a market value difficult. If it's any help, this one sold for $8000 in 2017:

From the data I've collected over the past years, there were around 900 GG's were built so it's a rare model.
From experience, unless you find one privately and no one else knows about it expect to pay in the $7500 to $9000 range. Higher if it comes with all its accessories, big horn, floor crane and in like new condition.

Thanks all! I may have to keep dreaming...
I actually passed on one at a Stanton auction some years ago. It went for $4K, but I had my sights set on something different on that day. Oh well...
