Peter Bacigalupi Edison Cylinder Question

Post by toysbyroy »

Found this cylinder and box recently at a local estate sale. The label indicates it is an Uncle Josh recording, but when playing it, the sound is barely audible. Is the cylinder appropriate for the container? Would appreciate your comments/insights. Thanks, Roy

What type of reproducer are you using to play it? Use a B, or earlier, only. C is too heavy and can damage it.

Probably not the best choice.

While I appreciate the input, no one answered my question: Is the cylinder "correct" for this box?
