Browsing Youtube looking for rubber restoration techniques, I came across people using mason jar vacuum sealers along with various cleaners/solvents/restoration-liquids to restore small rubber parts for cars in cases where original parts are not available and there are no 3rd party replicas. The vacuum draws air out of the old brittle rubber and apparently increases penetration of whatever restoration liquid is being used.
Here is an example of guy working with PineSol:

I immediately thought of applications for talking machines.
There are often rubber parts for which replacements are impossible to find.
I also thought of treating fibre needles. One of the problems I have seen reported by people who are trying to experiment with treatment solutions is that very little penetration is achieved by just passively soaking the needles.
I have no idea if these sealers would work with talking machine rubber/rubberish items or not or if they would help with needle treatment--no first hand experience--but it is an interesting idea.
There are a wide variety of these sealers available on Amazon, Temu, and elsewhere. Some are electric. Some are hand operated. Some have pressure gauges. Some do not.
A small selection of offerings, as examples, from one of the obnoxious fake review sites, this one allegedly Canadian:
