Does anyone know of a source for the Columbia 15A soundbox red rubber(?) isolator? I recently acquired a Columbia 203 portable and am wanting to rebuild the soundbox.
Thanks in advance!

Charlie, if you cannot find anything I might be able to fabricate one for you.

Those crazy complicated things have been a collector’s nightmare for decades. I vaguely recall seeing that someone had reproduced them some time ago, but I didn’t buy any.
Seems like an excellent candidate for 3-D printing!

Yeah, Peter, and this one looks as if it sat in an oven for a century (machine came from Arizona).PeterF wrote: Sat Jun 28, 2025 2:21 pm Those crazy complicated things have been a collector’s nightmare for decades. I should have checked there, but figured these things are so obscure as to not be readily available from suppliers.

The one you ordered matches the reproducer. The reproducer(doesn't have No.15 logo) of my Columbia 810 can use the one you ordered, but No.15 you have has different holes from the one from Phonograph shop.CharliePhono wrote: Sat Jun 28, 2025 2:51 pmAh-ha! Here are pics of the one off of my Columbia 203 portable. I wonder if the one I've ordered from Brian can be modified to fit? I wish I had known this prior to ordering.Watanabehi wrote: Sun Jun 29, 2025 10:53 amWatanabehi wrote: Sun Jun 29, 2025 10:41 amThe one you ordered does not match the reproducer. By the way, the one I ordered has multiple holes in it which would make it appear to be a universal fit. We shall see.
