Post by Jerry B. »

I thought this years Midwest Expo was the best yet. Here's an example of some of the machines that I found interesting.

Great choices Jerry. Did you ever hear a price quoted for the Junior Monarch on the stand?

Nice meeting you and your traveling buddies!

There was a 1917 Columbia Disc (I forgot what model) with a red petaled horn that was absolutely beautiful- even had a repeater mechanism on it as well.
Be sure to look up Samuel Murchison Seka on the interwebs for some music and phonograph reading material.

That Amberola 75 was only $275 and the Grafonola Elite was only $200. I don't believe either one sold!

The last of my photos...

The polyphones at the show were super cool to see.

I liked seeing the OAK M/IV as I don't think those are too common:

All I know is I'm happy that Jerry B. brought some of the show to me personally last week and got two great machines, (one thanks to Gramophonegeorg with some early 78s) a proper suitcase Edison case, Red Raven 78 and mirror, and other camera goodies! :D :D :D
