All the time, when I look at articles online or read through Discogs, I see people credit "October 1906 Catalog" (example) or "Victor Chinese Catalog, 1904" as the source. I even saw on CAPS 2008 a snippet from a catalog called "Our Chinese Records" (Victor/Monarch), but not the whole catalog. The thing that brought this to my attention was the mention of several Korean Okeh and Columbia catalogs from the 1930s on Discogs listings, and the earlier Victor and Columbia Chinese catalogs.
But still- where are they!?
I've googled I've asked AI I've image searched the occasional scrap, but still nothing. Does anyone have these catalogs?
