New to the forum here, Mike is the name. I purchased a talking machine recently at a garage sale that was the property of a local optometrist who is deceased. It was obviously a work in progress as parts are in boxes, some in the cabinet already, and the console itself is needing repairs. It has what appears to be some kind of tuner, and antenna system built in and an electrical receptacle on the side. The sounding horns (speakers if you will)are made of what seems like a molded brown material. Could some of you folks here offer some of your expertise to help me understand what I have here. It would be much appreciated. Thanks

Not sure what the owner intended had in mind as far as media...cylinders or platter...looks pretty incomplete. I do have a schematic of the electrics..old paper hand drafted good detail.

Greatly appreciated Ortho! Thanks for the links. Looks like Bose radio's aren't such a new idea.haha. same principle anyway. Not sure what I can do with this, maybe part it out or custom build something. Any ideas?
