Addition to my still small collection

Post by Carl »

This Odeon was in an antique store, five hours away from me clear across FL, but local to a fellow enthusiast who saw it and told me about it. He would have bought it, but he's currently thinning out his collection. I contacted the store, a walk around video was sent to me, and two days later UPS delivered it. I would like to share some photos.
Thank you

In case you are not aware if it, this Odeon portable was also badged as the HMV 97 and the Columbia 204.
The machines were introduced in 1933/34, differing only in detail. Early examples of "badge engineering" by EMI.
