Al De Old's passing
Although Dad wasn't a computer person, he might have known some of you from antique shows. While we lost him in June, his Edison collection lives on. In addition to his collection, he had over 40 machines to be repaired or cannibalized for parts. Does anyone have suggestions for ways to connect with people that repair Edisons? I'll be attending the mechanical music convention in Wayne NJ next month.

Shop,
There will be plenty of attendees at the Wayne show interest in parts, complete machines and records.
I suggest you contact the show organizer and reserve at least one or two tables to display your Dad’s items for sale.

Re: Al De Old's passing
I thought about getting a table, but I'm afraid I don't know enough about what anything is worth to do that. For now, research and meeting people are my goals. I've got the phonograph inventory done, and will start on inventorying the records soon.
