New VV-VI in Mahogany

Post by paradroid1793 »

My father purchased me this for Christmas. It's a VV-VI in Mahogany with a 12 inch turntable and Exhibition reproducer. There was also a copy of Louis Jordan's Let The Good Times Roll. Very excited!

Be sure to look up Samuel Murchison Seka on the interwebs for some music and phonograph reading material.

How lucky you are! It's a beauty, and a good machine too...

I use a VV-VI as my everyday player. They are great machines, easy to work on, and run very quiet. Congrats!

It was so nice that your father bought the Victrola for you. Hopefully you can find some acoustic Christmas records to play on it.

Thank you all very much!! Here's a photo of the reproducer. Perhaps the icing on the cake.

Interesting! Mine is mahogany as well, and I did not realize that there were less common than Oak. Thanks for letting me know.

Congratulations! It's the complete package with a powerful double spring motor, the excellent Exhibition reproducer, all wrapped in a classy mahogany cabinet. It's a wonderful gift.
