"Create New Topic" in "Machines" not working

"Create New Topic" in "Machines" not working
This problem seems to have recurred. Clicking "new topic" yields a screen with "No post mode specified."

This also occurs trying to reply to some posts.
I can't reply to the "Happy Holidays!" post in the parlor because it tells me no post mode is specified.
