Re: Japanese Columbia G-208 Portable
Noted. I have a number of Japanese Columbia's already (originally from our late friend and member, Barry's collection) but need to check if I have a G-208!epigramophone wrote: Wed May 06, 2026 11:21 am Mine on eBay :

Your listing is accepting offers, even if that is not what you intend, by the way.

I only have a G120 so this is VERY interesting indeed.epigramophone wrote: Wed May 06, 2026 11:21 am Mine on eBay :

Is it in 'original' condition or has it been 'restored' in any way I wonder ?

Re: Japanese Columbia G-208 Portable
Thanks for pointing this out Steve. When preparing the listing I took care to disable the "Make Offer" option, yet the "or best offer" appeared without my knowledge. I have now disabled any reference to offers again.Steve wrote: Wed May 06, 2026 12:26 pm Your listing is accepting offers, even if that is not what you intend, by the way.

Re: Japanese Columbia G-208 Portable
I have had a good look, and all I have found is that the black area inside the horn mouth may have been repainted, and that a few very small areas of the case covering may have been touched up. If so, it appears to have been unobtrusively done.poodling around wrote: Wed May 06, 2026 12:46 pmI only have a G120 so this is VERY interesting indeed.epigramophone wrote: Wed May 06, 2026 11:21 am Mine on eBay :
