Keen O Phone Motor Wanted
Hello Everyone...I just bought a Keen O Phone model XX with an incorrect motor. Does anyone have or know who might have an original motor for my machine? Thanks...Joe

I wasn't there, but saw at least three keenophones on winstead's web site - they all looked really nice... and I was amazed to see what the two complete ones sold for. you're looking for a correct motor, so I'm guessing yours is the one with the open bottom? if you get the chance, perhaps you could post some photos? despite the motor issue, that cabinet style was my favorite of the bunch.
and I guess you know about him already, but have you tried george vollema for that motor?

George does EXCELLENT work. He is the go to guy. He always pulls out the most difficult to find pieces to complete my projects. He restored the springs on my Edison Business machine, the carriage, he even had an nice fly wheel which are usually crumbling. Note: the Business springs are not the same size as any other Edison.
